This modern western hat was made for the stage. Flat brim with a teardrop (pinched) crown, weathered black finish, rugged, artisan, meant to be lived in.
Each hat is worked by hand to transform it into something truly unique and aesthetically satisfying- no two will be identical. Recapitate hats are handcrafted in the Mojave Desert. Each carefully built for you by musician/hatter Todd Fink (The Faint).
Color: Black felt with mild distress
Crown height: Low teardrop. Measures 4 1/4” from brim up to the center point of the crown
Brim: Flat with a subtle lift around the edge.
Felt: Fine 100% pure western-weight furfelt.
Sweatband: Premium black goat leather
Hat band: Distressed black leather strap. Thin overdyed black bandana strip
