Everyone notices the person wearing the Red Cowboy Hat. If it’s worth talking about, it’s worth getting a nice one. You deserve a top quality hat that fits properly.
Each one is worked by hand - no two will be identical. Recapitate hats are handcrafted in the Mojave Desert one hat at a time. Each carefully built for you by musician/hatter Todd Fink (The Faint).
Color: Perfectly Red
Crown: Cattleman crease, which is traditionally on the tall side (request it lower if you prefer).
Brim: 3 1/2” (Standard cowboy hat is around 4”). Sturdy feel, western curve
Felt: Fine 100% western-weight furfelt.
Sweatband: Premium black goat leather
Hat band: Black crows feather, antique military laundry pin, Maroon leather lace.
All sizes are available. Turnaround time is 4-6 weeks.
