Deeper indentations and an extra wavy brim compared the hat style called “Oven”. The hat band is made with an aged copper wire. Copper Wave has a uniquely textured finish which is made during a flame based distressing process. Unisex of course.

Each one is worked by hand to transform it into something truly unique and aesthetically satisfying- no two will be identical. Recapitate hats are handcrafted in the Mojave Desert one hat at a time. Each carefully built for you by musician/hatter Todd Fink (The Faint).

Color: Black Soot

Crown: : Artistically asymmetric indentations

Brim: Slightly uneven, hand cut, wavy, about 3 3/8” from the crown

Felt: Fine 100% western-weight furfelt.

Sweatband: Premium black goat leather

Hatband: Aged copper wire
