A light colored bolero style with pinched indentations on the front/sides. It’s fairly subtle but it gives the hat a slimmer, less blocky look from the front.

Each hat is worked by hand to transform it into something truly unique and aesthetically satisfying- no two will be identical. Recapitate hats are handcrafted in the Mojave Desert. Each carefully built for you by musician/hatter Todd Fink (The Faint).

Size: All sizes ship in 3-4 weeks

Color: Sand. This hat is presented “clean” here but you can request a vintage finish or even an aged/distressed finish. This is done with fire which creates some warmer golden brown accents.

Crown height: Low

Brim: 3 1/2” (varies by size), subtle pencil curled brim edge

Felt: Fine 100% western-weight furfelt.

Sweatband: Premium black goat leather

Hat band: Jute rope, antique brass pin
